Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
By submitting an application to Escalate and using our service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you have questions, email us at hello@escalatedating.com.
1. The Service
Escalate is a private, invite-only matchmaking service. We review member profiles and make introductions between individuals we believe may be compatible. Introductions are delivered by email. There is no app, no profile browsing, and no swiping.
Escalate is not a dating platform. We are an introduction service. What happens after an introduction is entirely between the two individuals involved.
2. Eligibility
To use Escalate, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have received a direct invitation from Escalate.
- Provide accurate, honest, and up-to-date information in your application.
- Be a real person, applying on your own behalf — not on behalf of anyone else, and not using automated tools.
We reserve the right to decline any application or revoke membership at our sole discretion, without being required to give a reason.
3. Member Conduct
By joining Escalate, you agree to treat every person you are introduced to with respect and integrity. You agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile or application.
- Use the service to harass, deceive, or harm any other member.
- Share the personal details of anyone you are introduced to with third parties without their explicit consent.
- Attempt to game, manipulate, or misuse the matching process.
Breach of this section may result in immediate removal from the service.
4. No Guarantee of Matches
Submitting an application does not guarantee you will receive an introduction. Escalate reserves the right to pause, limit, or discontinue introductions at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: membership criteria, availability of compatible members, or the overall quality of the match.
We do not guarantee any particular frequency of introductions, nor do we guarantee that any introduction will lead to a relationship of any kind.
5. Our Responsibility After an Introduction
Important: Escalate facilitates introductions between individuals. We are not responsible for the conduct, behaviour, or actions of any person you are matched with before, during, or after any interaction that takes place following an introduction. Always exercise caution and prioritise your personal safety when meeting someone new.
We take care in the curation process, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of information provided by members, nor can we conduct background checks. We strongly encourage all members to:
- Meet for the first time in a public place and let someone you trust know where you are going.
- Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, it probably is. Remove yourself from the situation.
- Never share financial information, home address, or other sensitive personal details with someone you have just met.
Escalate's liability is limited to the matchmaking introduction itself. All subsequent interactions between matched individuals are at their own discretion and responsibility.
6. Your Information
By submitting an application, you grant Escalate permission to store and use the information you provide for the sole purpose of matchmaking. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to make an introduction. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, design, and code — is owned by or licensed to Escalate. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute it without our prior written consent.
8. Termination
You may request removal from the Escalate database at any time by emailing hello@escalatedating.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your membership at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continuing the service is no longer appropriate in our judgment.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Escalate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service or any introduction made through it. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us, if anything.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify active members by email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
